Westminster: No scope for delaying stricter sulphur limit

westminster

The UK Minister for Shipping, Stephen Hammond MP, has said he is “pretty disappointed” that the UK Chamber of Shipping (COS) “continues to act” as if sulphur limits taking effect in 2015 are something new.

Hammond expressed his dismay with the COS during a debate at Westminster on Wednesday, in response to concerns about the impact on the UK economy, jobs and environment raised by Karl Turner, one the members of parliament representing the port city of Hull.
