IBIA ASIA has developed a range of training courses in conjunction with the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and is one of only two accredited training partners of MPA in Singapore. These include: Basic Bunkering, Advanced Bunkering, Mass Flow Metering and Auditor Training for Bunker Inspector Bodies.

Help ensure that your company’s concerns are heard by regulators. IBIA has official representation and consultative status as a non-government organisation at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and represents members at crucial legislative and industry changing debates. IBIA attends and presents its members at the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC), Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) and other relevant meetings. Working groups are a core means of member participation and the mechanism to discuss and develop IBIA’s position and responses to key industry issues, whether international, regional, national or local. Outcomes can include input to IBIA’s work at the IMO, guidance documents and publications. Working groups can be ongoing long term, such as fuel technical or legal working groups, or be established ad hoc to address specific issues at the discretion of the IBIA Board.
