The International Bunker Conference

IBIA board members and its CEO will all be speaking at the 37th International Bunker Conference (IBC) in Copenhagen Denmark, which runs from 27-29 April.

IBC is a world renowned forum for the international bunker industry. This year’s conference chaired by Nigel Draffin, a long-serving IBIA board member, will focus on the industry milestones and challenges presented by MARPOL Annex VI and its impact on shipping and the current available solutions.

In a session examining ‘Fuelling shipping going forward’ Robin Meech, IBIA Chairman will be talking about ‘2020 vs. 2025 – The Process’ while Peter Hall, IBIA CEO will be delivering a presentation called ‘Can the Bunker Industry adapt’.

The headline for the International Bunker Conference 2016 is ‘Industry disruption – all hands on deck?’ and the speakers will be questioning and debating the latest consequences of the existing regulations while informing and anticipating what is on the immediate horizon and the prospects towards 2020.
