Lewis & Co AARPI Announce new Partners

New Partners for Anglo-French Shipping Firm in Paris

Law firm LEWIS & Co AARPI, solicitors and avocats in Paris, are delighted to announce the appointment of Leïla Esnard and Guillaume de Bascher as partners in the firm. Leïla and Guillaume are avocats at the Paris bar.

Leïla and Guillaume are highly experienced in bunker issues and have recently acted in the following areas:

  • Unpaid invoices and where necessary ship arrest and other conservatory and enforcement measures.
  • Quality disputes, under both English and French law. As the procedural and evidential issues are rather different under English and French law, we, as dual qualified lawyers, are able to advise on the best approach to take advantage of either.
  • Charterparty and bill of lading issues in respect of chartered vessels.
  • Sanctions.
  • Emissions regulations.

Further information can be obtained from the Bunkers page on their website:
