IBIA to participate in the 39th International Bunker Conference

The 39th International Bunker Conference sets sail from Oslo, Norway on Tuesday April 17th onboard the 5 star cruise ferry M/V Color Fantasy, taking for a two days roundtrip voyage between Oslo and Kiel in Germany. The theme for the conference is “Sailing into Changing waters, how do we adapt?” with a focus on solutions for the upcoming 2020 sulphur limit.

IBIA’s IMO Representative, Unni Einemo, will be speaking at IBC 39 providing an update on the work undertaken by the International Maritime Organization to ensure consistent implementation of the 2020 sulphur limit.

Professor James J. Corbett, University of Delaware, will be chairing the conference.

IBC is the world’s longest running bunker conference and will, as always, offer a mix of high quality speakers, discussions, entertainment and networking meals.
