IBIA in Asia Forum- Success

The IBIA in Asia Forum  titled  “The Singapore Bunkering Scene – Looking Ahead” was a sell out attracting over 230 people.

The event, organised by the IBIA in Asia team, took place at the STI Auditorium in Singapore on the morning of 25th November 2015

The 3 hour forum consisted of: A keynote presentation from Dr Parry Oei – Director (Port Services) / Chief Hydrographer, – MPA

Fuel Quality Trends, Distillate and New Fuel Challenges – Capt. Rahul Choudhuri – Managing Director – VPS

Maximising value of residual fuels through understanding fuel quality and functions of chemical additives – Mr Tim Lok Hoe – Consultant / Sciencscan Consultancy.

These presentations were followed by a Panel Discussion about Mass Flow Metering and the views from the industry.

The panel was chaired by IBIA in Asia Chairman Douglas Raitt with panel members: Dr Parry Oei – MPA, Kenneth Kee – Technical Advisor Hong Lam Marine, Guido Cardullo Dy – Managing Director Fratelli Couslich Bunkers, Denis Ho – General Manager Aegean Bunkering
