IBIA celebrates International Women’s Day
Our industry has traditionally been male-dominated and continues to be so, but the International Bunker Industry Association has long since broken the mould, and encourage others to follow suit. IBIA is proud to highlight the many professional women making great contributions in the world of shipping and marine fuels.
March 8 is International Women’s Day and we fully support the statement to imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
As today is March 8, IBIA would like to celebrate the women in our Secretariat, and the women that are part of or will shortly join our Global and Regional Boards.
