New IBIA board takes effect with Timothy Cosulich as chair

Two new members join the board following 2022 elections.

April 1 marks the start of a new term for the Board of IBIA, and this year we welcome a new chair, vice-chair and treasurer. Following the board 2022 elections, we also welcome two new members to the board.

Timothy Cosulich of Fratelli Cosulich takes over as the chair of IBIA, Constantinos Capetanakis of Starbulk, will be the new vice-chair of IBIA, while Adrian Tolson, Blue Insight, USA will take over as Treasurer.

The IBIA Board will be as follows on 1 April, 2022:

IBIA is also pleased to welcome two new women members to the Board following the recent election of Valeria Sessa of Reseaworld and Anna Stefanou of PMG Holding. Timothy Cosulich and Eugenia Benavides of Terpel were re-elected for a second term.

Henrik Zederkof of Bunker Holding, Denmark who has served as chair for two years, and bunker industry veteran and independent consultant Nigel Draffin, who has been our treasurer, have stepped down from the board as their elected terms have come to an end. IBIA extends a huge thanks to both for their dedication and valuable contributions to the Association during their tenure.

IBIA Director Unni Einemo says: “We will miss Henrik and Nigel who have been very active and driven board members. We are very grateful to both and hope they will remain active members of the Association in other ways, such as in our working groups. We have a great team in place for the year ahead, and I am confident the new board composition will continue to serve the interest of our members and build IBIA’s positive impact in the industry.”
