IBIA Mediterranean Energy and Shipping Conference in Genoa deemed a resounding success
The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the IBIA Mediterranean Energy and Shipping Conference held in Genoa, Italy. The conference was a resounding success, with guests and delegates enjoying an evening of traditional Genovese food, Italian wine, and networking at the stunning Villa Lo Zerbina.
The conference covered a range of topics related to the bunker industry, including the industry’s finances, regulatory agenda, the upcoming 0.1% sulphur limit, and challenges facing the shipping industry as it navigates the energy transition. The panels were led by a range of experts from the Mediterranean region and beyond, including credit and insurance experts, regulatory specialists, and industry leaders.
