IBIA Board Members were announced at the AGM

The result of the IBIA – International Bunker Industry Association Board elections was announced at the IBIA AGM on Monday 26 February 2024, before the IBIA Annual Dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane.

Nine candidates were up for election for two IBIA Board positions. There was a tie for the second seat so this year there will be three Board Members joining.

Steve Simms, Principal – Simms Showers LLP will be stepping down as his term comes to an end.

IBIA would like to thank Steve for his valuable contribution to the success of the Association.

The three candidates elected for a 3-year term are:

Maria Skipper Schwenn, Bunker Holding Group

Ufuk Erinc, Unerco Petrol Urn. Denizcilik ve Tic. A.S.

Deanna MacDonald, BunkerTrace Ltd

They will join the IBIA Board on 1 April 2024.

Before the AGM, the current Board of IBIA formally elected the Chair, Vice Chair, and Treasurer for the year starting April 1, 2024. Constantinos Capetanakis is set to assume the role of Chair, succeeding Timothy Cosulich.

As of April 1, 2024, the IBIA board will be as follows:
