IBIA Annual Dinner brings global bunker and marine fuel community together
The IBIA Annual Dinner once again brought together key figures from across the global bunkering and marine energy sector for an evening of networking, celebration, and industry dialogue. Held in London, the event welcomed a diverse audience of IBIA members, partners, and invited guests, reaffirming its position as one of the most anticipated gatherings in the industry calendar.
A highlight of the evening was the honour of welcoming Mr Arsenio Dominguez, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), who addressed the audience with thoughtful remarks on the future of the maritime and bunker industries. His presence underscored the relevance and standing of IBIA within the broader maritime community.
The programme also featured two special recognitions. Trevor Harrison was presented with a small gift in appreciation of his long-standing service and dedication to IBIA. In addition, the Association acknowledged Eugenia Benevides, who will be stepping down from the IBIA Board. Her contributions over the years were warmly recognised and sincerely appreciated by all in attendance.
The evening provided an ideal platform for fostering meaningful connections, with representatives from across the marine fuel value chain engaging in a relaxed and elegant setting. The strong international presence reflected IBIA’s continued growth and influence, with both long-standing members and new faces contributing to a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
