Tensions in the Middle East are increasingly disrupting global shipping, with constrained transit through the Strait of Hormuz and incidents at key hubs like Fujairah raising concerns over marine fuel availability.

In an interview with Riviera Maritime Media, IBIA’s Executive Director, Alexander Prokopakis, warned that while supply is not yet short, restricted vessel movements could soon lead to fuel tightness.
