Peter Grünwaldt
Peter Grünwaldt, VP (Head of Bunkers at Hafnia) is a leader in the marine fuel industry with over 25 years of experience in the bunker sphere. Peter is currently serving as Vice President and Head of Bunkers at Hafnia (listed publicly in Norway and New York) one of the world’s largest owners and operators of product tankers.
Under Peter’s leadership, the Hafnia Bunker Alliance has gained steady traction since its inauguration in 2017 and attracts leading shipowners and operators looking to optimize bunkering efficiencies. At present, the Hafnia Bunker Alliance consists of more than 1400 different vessels being bunkered in a calendar year.
Prior to Hafnia, Peter spent his first 10 years in shipping with AP Møller – Maersk, and later worked for companies like Glencore, Chemoil and Souz Bunkering across various strategic roles, based out of Singapore, London, and Dubai.
Since 2019, Peter has been a member of the Auramarine Board, previously holding a board position at FESCO as well.
