Kasper Sorensen
Kasper Soerensen boasts an extensive background of over 15 years in the shipping and bunkering industry. Currently, he holds the position of General Manager, overseeing Hafnia’s bunker alliance in the Middle East and Asia.
Kasper embarked on his shipping career by participating in an international trainee program with A.P. Moeller – Maersk in Denmark. This program provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the organization by exposing him to various departments. Subsequently, he was relocated to Bogota, Colombia.
Following his time in Colombia, Kasper secured a position in Copenhagen with Maersk Oil Trading. There, he was entrusted with the responsibility of sourcing fuel for A.P. Moeller – Maersk’s fleet of container liners and tanker vessels.
Throughout his professional journey, Kasper has garnered valuable experience working with physical suppliers and traders, including notable stints at Bomin in Hamburg and Glencore in London and Singapore. These experiences have contributed to his expertise in the industry, ultimately leading him to his current role at Hafnia.
In 2009, Kasper earned a Business Diploma in Finance from Copenhagen Business School.
