Join the IBIA Asia Bunker Symposium during Asia Pacific Maritime

IBIA invites you to join a half day symposium in Singapore on 15 March 2018, offering a packed agenda covering the main issues facing the bunker industry today. The symposium, part of Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) which runs from 14 – 16 March in Singapore, will be chaired Timothy Cosulich, Chief Executive Officer of Fratelli Cosulich.

The symposium will hear from Ashley Noronha, of Teekay Tankers and from Peter Beekhuis, Maersk Oil Trading Singapore Pte Ltd on preparations for, and impacts of, the 2020 sulphur regulation, and from Yoon Jang Yong, Bureau Veritas Marine (Singapore) Pte Ltd about scrubbers, while Capt. Rahul Choudhuri of Veritas Petroleum Services (Asia) will talk about fuel quality.

In the second session, Elfian Harun from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore will talk about Post implementation challenges with Mass Flow Meter and the regulatory framework, followed by a talk by Danny Chua, Joseph Tan Jude Benny LLP, about how cross border insolvency such as the Hanjin case affects judicial recognition and payment claims.

The event will take place at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore – Hall F, Basement 2, Orange Deck from 10:00 to 14:00 local time.
