Supported Event – Maritime Week Africa 2026

Maritime Week Africa 2026 (MWAF26) will take place in Cape Town from 20–22 January at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Waterfront. The event brings together bunker buyers and suppliers, ports, refiners, regulators and other maritime-sector stakeholders for a programme shaped around the theme “From Ambition to Action: Energising Africa’s Shipping and Bunkering Sectors.” The agenda covers developments in traditional and alternative marine fuels, regulatory updates, operational considerations and broader market trends affecting shipping and bunkering across Africa.

The conference sessions will feature contributions from South Africa’s Department of Transport, Transnet National Ports Authority and other regulatory and fiscal bodies.

The programme provides an opportunity for industry participants to review current challenges, share practical insights and examine future pathways for Africa’s bunkering and marine fuels markets.
