Supported Event – International Future Fuels Week (IFFW)

The International Future Fuels Week (IFFW) London Briefing will bring together senior leaders and industry experts from the aviation, maritime and land transport sectors to discuss the decarbonisation and diversification of future fuels. The event serves as a key pre-conference gathering ahead of IFFW, providing insights into the policy, regulatory and commercial developments shaping the global energy transition.

As an official Association Partner of IFFW, IBIA will contribute its expertise on marine fuels, bunker supply chains and the evolving regulatory framework for shipping. Representing IBIA at the London briefing will be Dr Edmund Hughes, IBIA Representative to the IMO, who will share perspectives on the maritime sector’s transition to lower-carbon and alternative marine fuels, as well as the implications of emerging IMO greenhouse gas regulations.

The London briefing provides an important platform for cross-sector dialogue, bringing together stakeholders from across the transport and energy value chains to explore practical pathways towards a more sustainable fuels future.
