IBIA Members Meeting 2025: A Moment for Reflection and Future Outlook

As we approach the end of another significant year for the global marine fuels community, IBIA invites all members to join our End-of-Year Members Meeting on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, from 12:30 to 13:45 GMT.

This annual gathering offers an important opportunity for our international membership to come together in a spirit of reflection, dialogue and shared purpose. The meeting provides a direct platform to engage with:

• IBIA Chair – Constantinos Capetanakis
• IBIA Representative to the IMO – Dr Edmund Hughes
• IBIA Executive Director – Alexander Prokopakis

Together, they will share a concise overview of IBIA’s progress throughout 2025, including our regulatory engagement, global initiatives and the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of marine fuels. With 2026 on the horizon, the discussion will also explore IBIA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its influence, expanding member engagement and driving sustainable progress across the sector.

This meeting continues IBIA’s long-standing tradition of meaningful member dialogue. Historically held under the Chatham House rule, our member meetings foster an open and honest exchange of views — a cornerstone of IBIA’s role as a trusted, consultative voice for the industry.
