Bunkering in the digital age (MFM and more) : IBIA/Port of Rotterdam Forum 2017
This one-day forum on 16 May, co-hosted by IBIA & the Port of Rotterdam in conjunction with the Platts European Bunker Fuel conference in Rotterdam (17-18 May), will provide delegates with first-hand information on how to improve efficiency and transparency in bunkering with the application of technology. It will explore how the industry can benefit, covering:
- Mass flow meters: Experiences to date from users and surveyors
- Digitalisation of the bunker delivery note (BDN) and other processes
- How technology can address the contentious issues around fuel oil sampling
- Port of Rotterdam’s port call optimalization project
- Networking boat trip through the port of Rotterdam
Confirmed speakers include ExxonMobil, Lloyd’s Register, Rotterdam Logistics Lab, Vortex, VPS and VT and the forum will be moderated by IBIA chairman and leading industry consultant Robin Meech.
