Momoh–Jimah Oyarekhua
Mr. Momoh–Jimah Oyarekhua is the Chairman of OPAC Refineries and Founder of OMSA Integrated Services Limited. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate and an accomplished business administrator with over 30 years of experience in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
He has attended several executive programs locally and internationally, including the prestigious Harvard Business School, with a focus on oil and gas entrepreneurship. Over the years, he has built a reputation as a leading figure in the Nigerian energy sector, particularly in refining, petroleum products trading and bunker fuel supply, marine transport amongst others.
In 2017, driven by his commitment to building local capacity, Mr. Oyarekhua spearheaded OMSA’s investment in OPAC Refineries – one of Nigeria’s foremost modular refinery projects, located in Kwale, Delta State – designed to boost the domestic availability of petroleum products.
A results-oriented leader, he is widely recognized for providing innovative solutions that deliver sustainable returns on investment. Beyond his business pursuits, Mr. Oyarekhua plays an active role in shaping the oil and gas industry through various leadership positions. He is an active member of the Institute of Directors (Nigeria), and currently serves as the Vice President of the Bunker Traders Association of Nigeria (BTAN) – a body dedicated to harmonizing and advancing the bunker industry in Nigeria. He is also the Chairman of Ruta Exploration and Production Company – an upstream oil and gas firm in which OMSA holds equity. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Crude Oil Refinery Owners Association of Nigeria (CORAN).
