This course is intended for those involved in supplying, purchasing and verifying the quality of fuel supplied to the new standard. It covers the reason for standards, the development of the ISO 8217 and discussed the changes in the new 7th edition. It will also detail the primary test methods and the significant Annexes.
The course will last from 09:30 to 12:45 and focus on the conventional fuels and the fuel blends with bio based fuels as permitted in the standard. It will also look to the potential future changes needed for compliance with the shift from “Tank to Wake” to “Well to Wake” and some other implications as we shift towards other alternative fuels.
