IBIA to speak at CMA Shipping’s Bunker Session

IBIA’s IMO Representative will be among the speakers at the Connecticut Maritime Association conference on Wednesday 14 March at the Hilton Stamford, Connecticut. The CMA Bunker Session: 2020 – Making sense of it all, will examine the key issues raised by the International Maritime Organization’s global 0.50% sulphur cap.

Chaired by Llewellyn Bankes-Hughes, Managing Director, Petrospot Ltd, the session will hear from Unni Einemo, IBIA’s representative at the IMO and from Michael Green, Global Technical Manager – Bunker Fuel Testing, Intertek ShipCare Services, who takes over as Chairman of IBIA on April 1, 2018.

The session will also feature presentations from Steve Bee, Group Commercial Director, Veritas Petroleum Services, Dr Vis, Founder, Viswa Lab, John Stirling, Marine Technical Quality Manager, World Fuel Services and Adrian Tolson, Senior Partner, 20|20 Marine Energy.

All the speakers will take part in an open panel discussion, which will also be joined by Dragos M. Rauta, Technical Director, INTERTANKO.
