IBIA joins IMO Nightrider 2018 team to raise funds for seafarers’ welfare

IBIA’s representative to the International Maritime Organization, Unni Einemo, joined the IMO Nightrider 2018 team on a 100 km bike ride through London earlier this month to raise funds for the Mission to Seafarers. The IMO team set off from London’s Olympic Park at 11:15 pm on Saturday 9 June, returning many hours later on Sunday morning after completing 104 km in the saddle. Not your usual night out!

The IMO Nightrider 2018 team consisted of Unni Einemo (IBIA), Fred Kenney (IMO),  Gerard Kenny (LISCR), Ingrid López-Cardona (IMO) and Andy Winbow (IMO).

We did it to raise funds for this extremely relevant and worthy charity. Donations are still very welcome to help the Mission to Seafarers help and support to the 1.2 million men and women who face loneliness, discomfort and danger every day to keep our global economy afloat.

You can make a donation via the IMO Nightrider team’s JustGiving page.
