IBIA INAUGARAL BASIC BUNKER COURSE

The 15 September saw the inaugaral IBIA Training Course in Singapore, organised by Asia's Regional Manager, Mr Chong Kam Wah. The course was well attended by 22 delegates from Singapore and Indonesia and included observers from the Singapore Maritime Port Authorities (MPA).

The IBIA Basic Bunker Course was presented by IBIA's Secretary General Ian Adams. Wanda Fabriek, of Intertek Caleb Brett, presented the Technical Section of the course whilst Douglas Raitt of Lloyds Register presented "Real Life".

The feedback received was extremely positive and IBIA intends to hold further training courses in the future.
